Update on Anyu

Anyu before and after
Anyu is still doing very well after surgery. He is still in the hospital due to minor infection and mostly because the doctors are aware of his poor living conditions.  However, he is expected to be released this week. The French surgeons plan to return next year to perform plastic surgery to repair his face further.
Carol Howell Playground Donation
 Carol Howell donation
On Monday, Dec 29 Dan Howell and family presented Dr. Fred Garmon and PCL Board member Linda Staton with a check for over $8,000.00. The funds were raised in honor of Dan's wife, Carol Howell who passed away in 2008. Carol was a faithful partner of PCL and loved the children of Cambodia. The funds will be used to construct a playground in Carol's honor in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
" My sons and I are very grateful for the generous support of Carol's friends and family in making this memorial playground a reality. Carol's mission trip to Cambodia made a lasting impression on the entire family. It was clear to us that she left a part of her heart there with the Cambodiaon children. Carol was a person who loved to laugh and enjoy life. We can think of no more fitting memorial than a playground in her honor where the laughter of children will be heard."  > Dan Howell and family
