Teaching English as Second Language

As tourism grows, knowledge of English for Cambodian nationals is becoming a necessity for obtaining a good job. However, due to Cambodias devastating past, the educational system is still is great need of qualified teachers.

As a Cambodian PCL volunteer in teaching English, you will have a lot to offer these children, teenagers and adults by building their confidence with English pronunciation and conversation skills..

Volunteers can/will teach in the Cambodia public school system, at village locations, on boats on the tonle sap lake, and at PCL's coffee house and training center.

This project welcomes any volunteers who have working knowledge of English and teaching skills and is able to stay at least one month in Cambodia. A teaching certificate or English degree is not required.
