Teaching English as Second Language

As tourism grows, knowledge of the English Language for Cambodian nationals is becoming a necessity for obtaining a good job. However, due to Cambodias devastating past, the educational system is still is great need of qualified teachers. That is why PCL offers free English classes at numerous locations; public schools, commond grounds coffee house, boats of the Tonle Sap Lake, and the development center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This project welcomes any volunteers who have working knowledge of English and teaching skills and is able to stay at least one month in Cambodia. A teaching certificate or English degree is not required.
