ORPHANAGE WORK - SIEM REAP, CAMBODIA

Securing a safe future for children has become an issue of great concern in Cambodia. There are more than 100,000 orphans and due to extreme poverty, many parents and families also opt to send their children into orphanages, and this trend is escalating the overall number of orphans in the country. Various NGOs are involved in setting up orphanage centers throughout the country to accommodate the ever growing number of orphans and give them a safe and secure haven. PCL has established just such a safe haven in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
